Privacy Policy

Aviary is a native app that displays the social sites you choose — currently Twitter / X, Instagram, and LinkedIn — in on-device web views with reading controls that clean and calm each feed.

Information we collect

Aviary does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

• There is no Aviary account and no independent login system.
• You sign in to each site through that site's own web login. Aviary never sees, handles, or stores your usernames or passwords.
• Aviary has no backend. Your preferences and any diagnostics are stored only on your device.
• Aviary contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• No data is shared with anyone.

Your content and your accounts

What you read and do on each site is governed by that site's own privacy policy and terms — not by Aviary. Aviary only restyles what is already on the page, on your device. Aviary is an independent app and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, X Corp, Meta Platforms (Instagram), or LinkedIn / Microsoft.

Purchases

Aviary offers an optional paid "all-access" subscription through the Apple App Store. All payments are handled entirely by Apple, under Apple's own privacy policy and terms; Aviary never sees or stores your payment details. Aviary receives only Apple's signed confirmation of whether a subscription is active.

On-device data

Your settings and any optional diagnostic logs live only on your device. If you enable iCloud for Aviary, a single small preference — which site is your free feed — may sync across your own devices through your iCloud account, handled by Apple; it never passes through any server of ours. You can reset your preferences in the app, and deleting Aviary removes its local data.

Children

Aviary is rated 17+ because it displays unfiltered social-media content.

Changes

We'll post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
